Mybutterflywatcher was created to provide a way for people who love butterflies to connect with one another and to share the love of the hobby for the ultimate purpose of enjoying the sport and for the conservation of our winged friends.
Mybutterflywatcher's founders came up with the idea for the site based on their desire to know more about where to find wild butterflies and to share their sightings with others.
Mybutterflywatcher aims to provide a single online source for allowing people to keeping track of butterfly sightings across the U.S. and Canada, and of course, to share those sightings with the larger butterflying community.
